WizardHD PRODUCES BENCHMARK HEART CONCERT TV SPECIAL and DVD USING RED ONE CAMERAS IN 4K RESOLUTION.

WizardHD filmed the concert for the legendary rock band HEART on March 5, 2010 at the EMP in Seattle, WA. The quality of the production was unique because the show was shot with SEVEN (7) RED ONE cameras allowing us the capture in 4K resolution which is four times the resolution of 1080i. This cutting edge camera system eliminates the need to rent an HD production truck because each camera records the entire concert on its own hard drive. “The RED Technology allowed us to deliver an extremely high quality show that connects the viewing audience with the bands performance in a way never seen before”, stated Dan Barnett, Executive Producer of Wizard Entertainment.” We gain tremendous flexibility in post production to soften the images and make each artist look their best.”

The Heart project was the perfect example of having the right people working on a project that would make the end product exceptional.  Our creative team included; Director Ron Andreassen, Director of Photography Champe Barton, Director of Photography Steve Gibby and Lighting Director Jeff Ravitz. The bands performance was nothing less than spectacular and the Wilson sisters and amazing.
