WizardHD PRODUCES BENCHMARK JOURNEY CONCERT   TV SPECIAL AND DVD “LIVE IN MANILA”, USING RED ONE CAMERAS IN 4K RESOLUTION, THE RESULTS ARE BEYOND HD

WizardHD is based Ft. Lauderdale based entertainment production company filmed a concert for the legendary rock band JOURNEY on March 14, 2009 at the Mall of Asia in Manila Philippines. The show was filmed with state of the art, high resolution RED ONE cameras which deliver stunning digital imagery.

The quality of the production was unique because the show was shot with TEN (10) RED ONE cameras which allowed us the capture in 4K resolution which is four times the resolution of 1080HD. This cutting edge camera system eliminates the need to rent an HD production truck because each camera records the entire concert on its own hard drive. “The RED Technology allowed us to deliver an extremely high quality show that connects the viewing audience with the bands performance in a way never seen before”, stated Dan Barnett, Executive Producer of WizardHD.

The Journey Manila project was the perfect example of having the right people working on a project that would make the end product exceptional.  Our creative team included; Director Eli Tishberg, Director of Photography Champe Barton, Director of Photography Steve Gibby, Lighting Director Jeff Ravitz and Cinematographer Dave Hilmer. The bands performance was nothing less than spectacular. Journey’s members are Neal Schon (guitar), Jonathon Cain (keyboards), Ross Valory (bass), Deen Castronovo (drums), and Arnel Pineda (vocals).
